On June 18, 2018 Deputies took a report in the 3700 block of Strawberry Rd. regarding a theft. It was reported that a white 2007 Honda Rancher and a Blue 2015 Yamaha Viking were missing. Also reported stolen were a 15 gallon weed sprayer, a Dewalt Impact Wrench, a Honda 2000 watt generator and a Hitachi Air Nailer. The investigation lead Deputies to a residence on Airport Rd., where they located the 2007 Honda Rancher ATV. The Honda Rancher had been purchased by a resident there. Through the investigation, Deputies were able to identify two individuals who had sold the stolen ATV. Charges are pending on the two individuals. Further information to be provided after charges are released by the Massac County States Attorney. The 2015 Yamaha Viking has not been located, as well as the other missing items.
