Austin Lewis On 03/17/19 Deputies with the Massac County Sheriff's Office received a tip that 20 year old Austin Lewis, of Joppa, was standing outside the Bunchman Apartments in Joppa. Deputies arrived and did not locate Lewis near the Bunchman Apartments. It was believed that Lewis had fled into an apartment. Deputies discovered that Lewis had fled out a window of an apartment during their search. A search of the area was made. Information was obtained that Lewis was hiding in a residence in the 200 block of Joppa North Avenue. Deputies searched the residence and located Lewis inside hiding. Lewis was taken into custody without incident. Austin Lewis was transported to the Massac County Detention Center and held on the following warrants:

Petition for revocation of Probation (Domestic Battery)
Possession of a Firearm without FOID Card
