Billy Butler On Saturday, 02/22/14, around 1:00 P.M. a Pulaski County Ambulance narrowly missed hitting a vehicle head on near Honeywell on US HWY 45. The vehicle was traveling towards the ambulance and swerved to miss it, causing the vehicle to crash into a ditch. The driver of the crashed vehicle got out and fled on foot. A Massac County Sheriff's Deputy located 50 year old Billy Butler of Metropolis not far from the crash site. The Deputy detected that Butler was under the influence of alcohol. Butler was arrested and charged with DUI and Resisting for fleeing from the scene. He later bonded from the Massac County Detention Center.
