Ashley Jenkins On March 19, 2019 a report of forged checks was made to the Massac County Sheriff's Office. Deputies identified 34 year old Ashley Jenkins, of Metropolis, as the person they believed to have cashed a forged check. Jenkins was already wanted on a Massac County warrant on a Petition to Revoke Probation charge. Deputies gathered information on the whereabouts of Ashley Jenkins. Jenkins was believed to be a passenger in a vehicle in Metropolis. Metropolis Police located the vehicle and Ashley Jenkins inside the vehicle. Jenkins was taken into custody on the Massac County warrant. During a search, Metropolis Police Officers located drug related items along with a check book and a debit card belonging to the victim in the Forgery investigation. The report was turned over to the Massac County States Attorney for charges. Ashley Jenkins was charged with Possession of a Credit Card of Another as a result of the investigation.
