Raymond M. Stangel On 03/06/14 a Massac County Sheriff's Deputy stopped a vehicle just outside of Brookport for a traffic violation. The driver gave a name that tuned out to be false. After discovering that the driver was actually 28 year old Raymond M. Stangel of Paducah, the Deputy also discovered that Stangel did not have a driver's license. Raymond Stangel was arrested. During a search of the vehicle, the Deputy located what is believed to be a small amount of Crystal Methamphetamine, also known as "Ice". Stangel was charged with No Valid Driver's License, Obstructing Justice, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
