On 02/19/14 Sheriff Willie Bear visited Franklin, Jefferson, Unity and Brookport. Sheriff Willie Bear spread his message on making positive choices. Deputy K-9 Balak performed for the kids showing the kids his skill in finding hidden objects. Balak put on a performance with Patrick Meyer, which got high reviews from the kids. All the kids received a Sheriff Willie Bear plush doll. A larger Sheriff Willie Bear was given to the teachers to place in the classroom.
