Scotty L. Doss On 10/06/15 Deputies responded to the 500 block of West 9th St. in Metropolis for the report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies were told by a female that her boyfriend, 51 year old Scotty Doss of Metropolis, had shoved her into a wall and attempted to beat her with a shovel. Deputies observed injuries to the female victim. Witnesses also said that they observed Doss shove the female. Doss told Deputies an altercation took place between him and his girlfriend after she became intoxicated and busted a window out of their residence. Doss was extremely intoxicated and attempted to resist arrest. Doss was placed under arrest and charged with Domestic Battery.
