On 05/18/17 the Massac County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at a residence on West 5th St. in Brookport. Deputies responded and discovered a vehicle and a mobile home with several bullet holes. Shell casings were discovered near the residence. Deputies obtained video from a surveillance system. The video shows 3 subjects approach the residence. It is believed that two of the subjects were caring automatic rifles. In the video you can see the individuals firing at the residence as they run away. It should be noted that the time on the video is off and the actual time would be around 2 A.M. Deputies have been investigating since 05/18/17 and have developed possible suspects.
