Civil Process Service
The Massac County Sheriff's Department is responsible for serving all civil service papers issued through the Massac County Court. The Sheriff's Department also provides the service of serving eviction notices (Notice to Quit). The charge for service on all civil process services is $25. A charge of $0.50 per mile is added to the final cost of the service. The Notice to Quit form may be picked up at the Massac County Sheriff's Dept. You may also download the form by clicking the link below. An instruction sheet is also attached to the form in helping you complete the form. You may hand deliver or mail the Notice to Quit Form to the Massac County Sheriff's Department.
